Registration and Measurement continued today, second day of the European Championship here in Souda. The bad wind conditions with a lot of rain kept the fleet ashore, and made the weighting of the boats hard. The Italian team also arrived today with two boats and so far the number of the registered boats has reached 27.

First formal day of the J24 European Championship, here in Crete and most of the participating boats have already arrived in the bay of Souda. Measurement of masts and sails, weighting of the athletes and the boats together with the registration were some of the jobs of the sailing crews. In the morning, the weather was sunny and hot but during the afternoon the rain made the whole procedure of registration difficult.

The 2009 J/24 European Championship welcomes all participants. Crews that want to participate can preregister for the championship through this website. In order for the registration process to be successfully completed, the following steps should be taken:

1. Register with the j24euro2009.iox.gr website: Click on Register from the menu at the top of the page and complete all required fields. This process will create a unique username and password that you can use again to review and update your information. Only crew captains have to register, providing information for the boat and the rest of the crew.
